The idea
A free platform for artists to share their music with the world.
Window of Opportunity gives emerging artists a stage and an audience. Every other Sunday, a window on Kerkstraat in the centre of Amsterdam opens and the street below becomes the venue.
People walking past find live music by chance, and an ordinary Sunday turns into something they remember. For the artist it is a way to reach a new audience directly, with no tickets, no barriers and nothing to prove.
Every session is filmed properly and shared online, so the music travels well beyond Kerkstraat.
